SolaX and Borussia Dortmund Extend Partnership Through 2028

Munich, 23 June 2026 — SolaX and Borussia Dortmund have renewed their partnership, opening a new cooperation cycle from June 2026 to June 2028. The agreement was formalized at a signing ceremony in Munich, marking the continuation of a successful collaboration and a shared commitment to sustainability.

James Li, Assistant General Manager and Marketing Director, signed on behalf of SolaX. Benedikt Scholz, Director Internationalization & Commercial Partnerships, signed on behalf of Borussia Dortmund. Also attending the ceremony for BVB were Jonathan Webster, VP Global Partnerships, Farzan Sahraeian, Manager Commercial Partnerships, and Kalle Riedle, Borussia Dortmund legend.
The renewal comes at a time when sustainability and clean energy continue to play an increasingly important role around the world. While these topics are often discussed on a global scale, they also have a growing impact on everyday life and future generations.

Football has a unique ability to connect people across borders, languages and backgrounds. Through their renewed partnership, SolaX and Borussia Dortmund aim to combine that reach with a shared commitment to raising awareness of sustainability and encouraging positive change.
Over the next two years, the partnership will continue to explore ways in which sport, clean energy and public engagement can reinforce one another. The focus will include brand visibility, fan-facing activities and sustainability-led initiatives designed to make sustainable living more relatable, accessible and inspiring.
